Obie and I

The rain let up, so long walkies today by the lake. I’ve been meaning to take Obie’s picture, so here he is–the magical fairy creature we adopted five years ago after he got hisself runned over. He was a puppy then, and his crushed leg healed quickly and perfectly, thanks to some expert care. We have a theory about his parentage, but about all we can say is that he looks mostly lab, but with pit bull ears stapled on. If he’s a product of mad science, it’s the benevolent kind of genetic engineering, that has left him with the sweetest disposition on earth. This is a good dog.

Why, oh why?

This is a new look for my site, a lighter and less claustrophobic style unlikely to frighten children or livestock. It contains zero trans fat and no bovine growth hormone (BGH). The 3-D Chiller House of Terror is not intended to treat any disease. Your results may vary. Please consult your doctor before reading any new blog.
