Where New Age meets World Music, at the corner of Pop and Celtic, there you will find Loreena McKennitt. Her music has grown on me. I’d still like to hear her—finally—uncork that voice, but until the day she summons some greater passion, I’ll just enjoy the ride. Tonight, we’ll do so in person, in the fifth row of the Fox Theatre downtown–the finest music venue I’ve ever known, though it’s been eleven years since I saw an actual concert there.
