With the Larry Craig scandal dragging on, now is probably not a good time to unveil the, um, wide stance of the ‘08 GOP national convention’s logo.
Organizers of the 2008 Republican National Convention unveiled the official logo for the event Wednesday.
The logo’s circular design features the silhouette of an elephant and the names of the host cities, Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
The logo was designed by New York City-based Robert Matza, whose other clients include Morgan Stanley, General Electric Co., Pepsico Inc. and the New York Stock Exchange, according to a press statement.
The 2008 Republican National Convention is being held at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul from September 1-4.
Expect a hurried redesign any day now.
